How it worksSmall group personal training in North Belfast
The plan and the coach you would get from a personal trainer, shared with a few other members.

Level Up Fitness is a small group personal training gym in North Belfast, at 23 Henry Place, just off Clifton Street. Small group personal training is exactly what it sounds like. A few members train in the same session, each one follows a programme written for them, and a coach works the floor from start to finish.
It is different from a class. In a class everybody does the same workout at the same pace, and if it is too hard or too easy for you, that is your problem. Here the person beside you may be doing something completely different, because their goal and their starting point are different from yours.
It is different from a normal gym too. You do not arrive wondering what to do, wait for a machine or copy someone off the internet. Your session is planned before you walk in. Your coach sets you up, watches how you move and changes things when an exercise does not suit you.
And it is different from training alone with a trainer. You still get coached, but you also get company. Members talk about the laughs as much as the lifting, and plenty of them say the other people in the room are the reason they keep coming back.
We follow four steps with everyone: a plan, coached training, support between sessions, and accountability so progress gets tracked and nobody drifts. Most people start with the 30 Day Beginners Programme. Message us on WhatsApp and we will explain how it would work for you.
How it worksFour levels, one at a time
This is how we get people results. Nothing clever. Just the four things most people never get from a gym membership.
- 1
Plan
We write you a programme around your goal, your body and how much you have trained before. You never walk in wondering what to do.
- 2
Training
You train in a small group with a coach on the floor, setting you up, checking your form and adding weight when you are ready.
- 3
Support
Questions between sessions get answered. Members mention help with food as well as training in their reviews.
- 4
Accountability
Your coach checks in on you and tracks your progress, so you can see how far you have come and nobody quietly drifts away.
“they provide achieveable work out plans that are catered for each individual needs! Along with monthly progress reports and weekly check ins”

I would happily recommend Level Up to anyone who has felt hesitant, unsure, or put off joining a gym and is looking for a friendly, non-judgemental place to start.

I had never done any PT sessions before and was afraid. From day 1 I loved it, really friendly atmosphere, no posers, everyone genuinely gives support and you get to know people

I like it because you don't feel embarrassed like at the big gyms if u do the workout wrong. They come and help you.
Small group training questions
Something else on your mind? Ask it on WhatsApp and a real person will answer.
Ask your own questionWhat is small group personal training?
It is personal training shared between a few people. You train in the same session as other members, but everyone follows their own programme, written for them. A coach is on the floor the whole time to set you up, check your form and move you on when you are ready.
Is it the same as a fitness class?
No. In a class everyone does the same workout. Here each member follows their own programme, so the session suits you whether it is your first week or your third year.
How many sessions a week will I do?
That depends on your goal and your week. Message us on WhatsApp and we will suggest what would work for you before you commit to anything.
How much does it cost?
Message us on WhatsApp and we will send you the current prices and what is included. We would rather talk it through with you than leave you guessing from a price list.
Ready when you are. Message us.
It goes straight to the coaches, and a real person replies. No pressure and no hard sell.
Message us on WhatsAppRather we got in touch with you?
Leave your name and mobile and tell us what you are after. One of the coaches will text or call you back.
